Frank has worked in IP field for nearly 20 years. Frank is familiar with global patent and trademark application, invalidation, re-examination and appeal procedures. Before he established Edison International Patent & Trademark Office, he was the IP director in the IP department at Lextar Electronics Corp. (“Lextar”) (TAIEX: 3698), a well-known LED company based in Taiwan. Under Frank’s leading, Lextar was second to none in number of granted TW patents and utility patent applications in 2011-2013. Before that, he was the senior manager in the IP department at AUO, one of the top manufacturers of TFT-LCD panels in the world. During he worked at AU Optronics (“AUO”) (TAIEX: 2409), he participated in many negotiation for patent disputes and multi-national patent litigations. Especially, he leaded his team successfully to defend LG display from allegation of patent infringement. He is not only familiar with multi-national patent and trademark applications, but also he is experienced in procedures of patent litigation in TW, CN, JP and US.
